What is your role within the SCQFP?

I am currently serving as Interim Chief Executive Officer at the SCQF Partnership, having temporarily stepped up from my role as Head of Operations.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I enjoy increasing awareness and understanding of the SCQF and raising the profile of the SCQF Partnership. I’d like everyone in Scotland to know that the SCQF is their national qualifications framework and understand its value.

Career so far

My career to date has been crafted by the various roles I’ve taken in the private, public and third sectors. I’ve been lucky enough to spend time working overseas too. Along the way, I’ve taken career breaks to go travelling or to study and change direction. The sectors in which I’ve worked and grown my skills include sales, inward investment, innovation policy, resource efficiency & circular economy and skills development.

In this latter sense, the term applies in all contexts including academic study, eg footnoting properly.
