Pauline Radcliffe has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Partnership.
She has replaced Aileen Ponton who has been Chief Executive since the organisation was created, and who retired at the end of 2022.
Pauline has had an extensive career working in a wide range of senior roles across local and national government, consultancy, and third sector development, and is currently working as Head of Sponsorship within the Advanced Learning and Science Directorate of Scottish Government.
Rob Wallen, Chair of the SCQF Partnership Board said:
“Aileen has been an excellent leader of the SCQF team, and the Board knew that finding a successor would be a challenge, but we are extremely confident that in Pauline we have recruited someone who will carry on the excellent leadership that Aileen has provided. We are delighted that she has accepted this role.”
Pauline Radcliffe said:
“I am delighted to have been appointed to the role of Chief Executive of such a pivotal partnership organisation promoting fairness and consistency within Scotland’s education and skills landscape. Aileen leaves the Partnership in an excellent position after years of her development and leadership of the Framework and I look forward to working with the Board and staff team to continue that journey for the benefit of learners, employers and our learning providers in Scotland.”
