Video Competition: Let us know how the SCQF has shaped your learning Journey

The SCQF School Ambassador programme celebrated its 5th anniversary this year. We now have 115 schools signed up, with more across Scotland joining every day! To mark this milestone, we’re looking to raise awareness around the programme and what it means for school staff and pupils to be involved.

Here's what we need the pupils to do:

We are asking SCQF Ambassador Schools to send us short videos (1min max) from Pupil Ambassadors.

Tell us how you have participated in the programme, if you have used your knowledge about the SCQF to help you or your peers make choices, and how it’s helped you and your classmates understand the learning you’ve been involved in.

Videos can be created individually or as a group (max 5 pupils per group) and should be submitted by SCQF guidance staff via Twitter tagging @SCQFPartnership and using the hashtags #MySCQFJourney and #SCQFSchools

Examples of situations:

1. Understanding the SCQF helped me choose a Foundation Apprenticeship because I get a qualification at the same level as a Higher as well as real work experience.

2. Knowing more about the SCQF, I was able to do an NPA in Business at SCQF level 5 without the stress of having to sit an exam.

3. Learning about the SCQF taught me that there are many different paths you can take. I’ve decided to go to college then maybe I will I apply for an apprenticeship or move into 3rd year at University.
