This online workshop is aimed at employers who are looking to recognise the learning that employees have gained through life, work and educational experiences. Having the ability to acknowledge employees prior learning can then help identify how to recruit more effectively, retain and promote staff by creating learning and development strategies through the use of in house or external training.
During the workshop we will focus on practical activities that will make employers think about what skills and experience can be recognised with a mind to recruiting and retaining suitable staff who will feel valued and rewarded for the contribution they make in your organisation.
Key themes addressed over the morning:
Types of RPL
Core principles of RPL
Assessment of RPL
Uses of RPL as an employer
Case Studies to develop confidence
