Lochend Community High School - Using the SCQF for Progression Pathways and Positive Destinations

Lochend High School is situated within Glasgow City Council and in one of the most deprived areas of the country. They had a very traditional progression pathway of National and Higher qualifications which wasn't meeting the needs of their young people. Becoming an SCQF Ambassador School has allowed them to discover and introduce a wider range of qualifications credit rated on the SCQF which has benefited their learners, particularly those who were disengaged with mainstream education.
