My Learning Journey - Christie's Story

Christie was brought up in care from the age of 5, he spent 12 years in prison where he went on to become a heroin addict. With support from WEA (Workers' Educational Association), Christie has positively turned his life around. Working his way up the framework to SCQF Level 7, he now works as a Peer Mentor for the charity Cyrenians.
