SCQF referenced to the Bahrain Qualifications Framework

Working in close collaboration since 2010 the SCQF Partnership and the Bahrain Education & Training Quality Authority (BQA) delivered a project in 2018 to formally reference the SCQF to the National Qualifications Framework of Bahrain (NQF).

The referencing process provides an explanation of how qualification levels in Scotland relate to those in Bahrain which supports the mobility and recognition of both students and employees between the countries.

SCQF referenced to the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework

The SCQF Partnership have a longstanding relationship with the Education Bureau (EDB) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People’s Republic of China and undertook an exercise in 2017 to formally reference the SCQF against the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF).

The formal referencing of the two frameworks supports education institutions, professional bodies and employers based in Scotland who have close or emerging links with counterparts in Hong Kong.
