Our SCQF Level 7 course on Energy Advice, Support, and Sustainability equips candidates with the expertise needed to navigate the expanding, complex and dynamic energy sector.

Amid the backdrop of rising energy costs and environmental urgency, the demand for informed guidance and actionable solutions is paramount. With over 600,000 Scots grappling with energy expenses and a worrying 14.2 per cent of the population struggling to make ends meet, the need for expertise in energy advice has reached unprecedented levels.

Empowering staff

Leading this initiative is Advice Direct Scotland, the official partner of the Scottish Government for Energy Advice in Scotland. The organisation is a pioneer in offering qualifications tailored to empower professionals in navigating the complexities of the energy advice sector.

As Scotland's largest digital advice agency, Advice Direct Scotland also offers a comprehensive range of services encompassing energy, debt, benefits, housing, employment and consumer rights advice, all free at the point of use. By employing advanced technology and embracing a multi-channel approach, Advice Direct Scotland ensures individuals can access vital support tailored to their needs.

Central to this initiative is the newly credit-rated qualification at SCQF level 7, Energy Advice, Support, and Sustainability. This innovative programme equips learners with the knowledge and skills to navigate the evolving energy landscape. This qualification would suit anyone currently working within the energy advice sector.

Energy Advice, Support, and Sustainability, developed by Advice Direct Scotland, is certified and quality assured by SQA as a Customised Award. This award has been credit-rated by SQA at Level 7 on the SCQF with 12 credit points.
