SCQF Partnership announces SCQF Week 2022

The SCQF Partnership has announced that SCQF Week 2022 will take place 21-25 March.

SCQF Week showcases best practice in use of the SCQF across a range of sectors, as well as raising awareness of the SCQFP’s latest projects and developments amongst partners and stakeholders.

This year is an exciting one for the team at the SCQF Partnership as the SCQF is 21 years old!

SCQF Week will encourage users across a range of social media platforms to share their own SCQF journey or wishes for the future and will have a specific focus for each day of the week:

• MON 21 MARCH FOCUS: SCQF APPROVED CREDIT RATING BODIES
• TUES 22 MARCH FOCUS: EMPLOYERS AND SCQF INCLUSIVE RECRUITERS
• WED 23 MARCH FOCUS: SCHOOL & COLLEGE AMBASSADORS
• THURS 24 MARCH FOCUS: SCQF ONLINE CONFERENCE
• FRI 25 MARCH FOCUS: THE FUTURE

During SCQF week, and as part of the 21st celebrations, we are holding our very first online conference on 24 March 2022.
The conference will run from 10.00 – 15.30 and the theme is Recognising Skills in a Changing Landscape.

The event features a variety of speakers, including Shirley-Anne Somerville MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills, who will provide an afternoon keynote address, a panel session exploring future use of the SCQF and five breakout seminars. These will allow delegates to hear more about how the SCQF is being used by learners, schools, employers, Credit Rating Bodies, CLD, colleges and HEIs.

We also see this as an opportunity to celebrate the distance travelled since the Framework was first launched back in 2001, so the conference will showcase and celebrate the growth of the SCQF, not just as a Framework, but as a tool to promote parity of esteem and play a central role in the learner journey.

We have created a digital toolkit so you can join in and help us celebrate the SCQF’s 21st birthday and SCQF Week.

The hashtags to use and follow are #SCQF21years and #RecognisingSkills
